The young Americans, Helen Richardson and Cindy Davis were exchange students in Philippines, when Cindy was killed by an earthquake in the Negros-Cebu area 2.6.2012. Over 100 people died in the incident, and hundreds were wounded. Amongst the victims was Cindy, a 22 years old American, who had graduated from a school in autumn 2012. Her friend, Helen, was paralyzed from the waist down, and still suffers from severe mental trauma caused by the disaster. She needs funding for mental services and rehabilitation, and also for the studies. We estimate that about 8000 dollars is enough to cover the rest of her expenses. We also want to help the relatives of Cindy who died in the disaster. You can help by giving a small donation. At the moment Helen goes to psychotherapy and plans to continue her studies in autumn 2013. We are thankful for your aid.
